Barry Connell found out the hard way about paying too much for racehorses; Our Conor, Golantilla to name two not to mention the 12 yo he paid 180k for for a Grand National runner; Pineau de Re he had sold for 19k upped and won the race.

He changed his attitude, his latitude and modus operandi has Good Land, Marine Nationale and William Munny to show for it.

At least Vauban was already in Aus, so the heavy lifting was done.

He had race trials and race form so they knew what they were getting into; good for them.
