Actually, if you look at that from a reverse perspective, that's quite admirable in that he won't give them special favours BECAUSE of his precedents. I realize, though, that as he's a Tory, he can't win with you. If he favoured bringing in unlimited, unchecked hordes, you'd find fault with that.

There's a world of difference between a 'fear' of persecution and actual persecution, Ardross. We'd be host to around 10,000,000 people by the end of the month based on the latter, and tens more on the former.

Jon the point is that there has to be a well founded fear of persecution. You quite rightly don't have to wait to be persecuted .
