... when I'd actively back Ryan Moore in one race let alone five.

If I've gone through all my figures and he's on the one I like best, fair enough, it won't stop me from backing it :p but I don't actively go through a race based on jockeys.

However, today I just couldn't be arsed looking at the Curragh card for all the races are very valuable and will be chock full of triers.

Instead, I've just backed all five Moore rides in win trebles, fourfolds and an ew acc. He probably should win three so I'm hoping he can go one better. Small stakes, though, since the other two are 10/1 and 14/1.

The 14/1 shot, Hispanic, I've backed as a single. I backed it at Ascot last week but it was on the wrong side and was very much looked after once that became obvious.

Get set for some anti-Moore ranting if things go t1ts up

No complaints so far. Unquestionable got as good a ride as any jockey could give it but was touched off by the better horse.

Hispanic was all out virtually the whole way and probably needs to go back up in trip. It's hard to know where his future lies and he might be one that ends up being sent to the sales.

Auguste Rodin, as I'd anticipated, was ridden closer to the pace and proved too strong. The margin and performance wasn't exactly that of a 4/11 shot but I think he's extended his winning margins over the other Epsom runners. This form might be okay in the long run.
