Derek92, your IQ score is significantly above average. Congratulations! You have a wide range of exceptional skills which are much stronger than those of the average population. You are also skilled at answering the types of questions that are asked in a classic IQ test. The test analyses your strengths and weaknesses based on your mathematical, linguistic, visual-spatial and logical skills. Even though you have high scores in all of those areas, we are able to analyse your results to discover the areas in which you have the strongest abilities.

You are gifted with the natural fluency of a writer and the visual and spatial strengths of an artist. Those skills contribute to your creative and expressive mind.

Insightful linguists can take complex concepts and articulate them to just about anyone. You have a gift with words and insight into processes and the way people think. These talents enable you to explain things clearly to people. Helen Keller is a great example of an Insightful Linguist. Blind, deaf and mute, she was still able to put things together in her mind and to understand complex ideas. She could do that because she was able to conceptualise ideas internally. Though she could not literally see, she had the visual and spatial skills necessary to understand patterns on an abstract level. She learned to read, write and ultimately became a writer on issues of social justice.

simmo,
you can have most of my points, they are mostly unused and therefore free of contamination. :)

142 but it doesn't tell me which I got wrong or explain how to arrive at the correct answers.

Like a meticulous collector, you've fed your brain a unique set of facts and figures over the years. Words, numbers, you've got it all. That's what makes you a Facts Curator.

Whether or not you intend to absorb every piece of information that comes your way, your mind has certain steel-trap qualities to it. You are a knowledge sponge. You have almost enough words in your head to fill a dictionary, and you're equally adept when it comes to manipulating numbers. You can also detect important patterns in number sequences, and probably remember the mnemonic devices you were taught in your early school years.

I rather suspect all of the above is a long-winded euphemism for "boring f*cking b*stard."

Gearoid, your IQ score is 82

Gearoid, your IQ score is lower than the average IQ score. However, this does not mean that you are less intelligent than the average forum member. There are a lot of factors that might result in a lower score. Maybe you took this test while you where pissed or maybe a bit tired from all the shagging your doing compared to past it forum members. Also an IQ test cannot measure all the skills that play an important role in measuring the total intelligence such as your ability to add minus/negative figures on a weekly/monthly basis. Such a test essentially measures how well you are equipped to handle a particular, very structured type of question, not like "Are you waitng for your younger sister to finish school sir?" that you encounter on a daily basis. The classic IQ test examines your strengths and weaknesses based on your mathematical, linguistic, visual-spatial and logical skills such as working out its easier to sleep in the lawn then get the key in the door. By analysing your answers, we can discover the areas in which you have the strongest abilities.

You've got a very experiential way of learning and a strong mathematical mind. You're able to whittle even the most complex situation down to comprehensible component parts i.e I have €50, thats enough for 12 bottles of cider and a pack of bacon fries and one song in the juke box. In short, you have mastered the art and science of precision. That's what makes you a Precision Processor.

For you, life is a series of equations (drink + high levels of testostorome) (ugly birds looking in your direction) = (a whole lot of shit). Your brain is naturally predisposed to intense mathematical acuity, and your understanding of numerical problems is unparalleled. It's second nature for you to cut to the heart of an issue, so that you can discover quick solutions to problems while others get bogged down in unnecessary details I.e your locked, you have no clothes and your pissing in someones lawn........ One precision processor that comes to mind is the Greek philosopher-mathematician, Pythagoras. Pythagoras had a mind for numbers and, as such, could come up with previously unknown theories like his method for calculating the sides of a right triangle (a2+b2=c2). You too, can use numbers to translate aspects of the world around you -- something that doesn't come easily to everyone. Your quick mathematical mind will allow you to communicate a variety of ideas to other people, so don't keep it to yourself.

I got 138P ~ "Rory has already achieved a high level of genius and should continue to progress with age, especially when stepped up to a genuine visionary philosopher's trip on soft going. He would doubtless hold his own in stronger company and show up Aristotle, Plato and Socrates to be the morons they are. One to keep on the right side."

A deeply, deeply crap 131. :shy:

About the two cars setting off in oppo directions for 6m, then both turning left and going for 8m. I can't figure whether they mean just go left and straight on, or turn left, and come back round towards where they set off. If they both go 6m, turn left, then 8m straight ahead, aren't they 16m apart? (Not distance travelled - just apart.) 16m wasn't mentioned. Help - is that the AA?

Pythagoras helps you there, Jon. They both form two sides of right angles triangles - length 6 and 8. Pythagoras tells us that the hypotenus of each triangle will be 10 ergo 10x2 = 20.

Spikka da Eengleesh? Pythagoras couldn't help me work out my 9 times table, Pee! I sprang this one on two work colleagues at Lingers today, and of course the bloke went, oh, well, that's Pythagoras for you, it's a 4-5-6 or some such gobbledegook. I still am absolutely no, no, no clearer how it works than before, but thanks for a very gallant try. :shy:
