Both your comments are justified however the GOP has no alternative.The US, like us, has a major battle on its hands, it is a time to pull together be confident and take firm action.
It is a time for leadership not prevarication and blame chasing. It wouldn't do any harm here to remind people how we stood up in the dark days of 1940 when even the then Yank President thought we were 3/1 on to lose.
