If you are working and not near a TV or you're interested in the Oscars but haven't got Sky Movies, you could do worse than tune in to the radio coverage on LBC.

Oh, and it's James Hartigan who is covering the awards through the night.

Oscars on LBC

Really? You learn something new everyday. There's a photo of Hartigan Jnr. (handsome chap not unlike his Dad) on the site too and I have copied a bit of info over for anyone interested.

My cat has the radio tuned into LBC every day..... honest! B)

James Hartigan
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Sunday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Where in London do you live and why?
Putney – because of the river, the trees, the local cats and the low council tax rates.

Where do you go when you want to get out of town?
Las Vegas

What do you miss most when out of London?
All the things we moan about, but give the capital its character: the noise, the pollution, the weather, the tube, the overcrowding….

What is your earliest London memory?
Being dragged by my mum to visit the dentist in Whitechapel.

What’s your favourite London hang out?
The Player on Broadwick Street.

How do you get around town?
Wherever possible, by car. Most of the time, strictly out of necessity, by tube.

Who or what is in your secret address book? (eg. Little known café/restaurant/spa/park/bar etc)
Moomba World Café Bar, off Putney High Street, serves the best English breakfast in London.

What would you do if you were Mayor of London for a day?
Make our city car-friendly again: scrap the Congestion Charge and ban all buses and cyclists from the roads!

Who’s the most interesting person you’ve ever interviewed?
Milos Forman, director of two of the finest films ever made – ‘One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest’ and ‘Amadeus’.

Who would be your dream interview and what would you ask them?
Clint Eastwood’s always been one of my idols and I could talk to him for hours about his movie career. But I’d have to ask what possessed him to make those awful comedies with the orang-utan.

Excellent! He's a fine-looking chap, Brian - intelligent, steady gaze, warmth... must take after his mother?

Zhang Ziyi presesnted one oscar.

She played a lead roll in the House of the Flying Daggers.

She is nowdays one of my favotite actress if not the favorite.
