Well later today is our first caravan rally of the season we will be camped in a field next to a rather nice pub which is along side a creek for some nice walks with the dogs so I shall bid you farewell till Sunday eve
We have only been caravanning for about 4yrs but really enjoy it as we can take the dogs with us, the rallies are good value normally around £12 for the weekend, our favouite rally is in July when the Flying Legends airshow is on at Duxford, the rally field is in Duxford primary school which is just the other side of the M11 & all the planes fly directly over the rally field, quite low as well as they are either just taken off or coming in to land, when the Spitfire had it anniversary a couple of years ago they had a huge number of them flying at the same time, a fantastic sight
I'm off too after the 1,000 Guineas. Among the places I'll be going is the Grand Canyon. At the little airport they have a visitors' book but they will have moved on apace from the last time I was there, which was when "Knowing Me, Knowing You - with Alan Partridge" was at its height of popularity. I admit to the visitors' book entry: This is a grand canyon.............Alan Partridge, Norwich
Aldiniti, my OH and I are still contemplating the purchase of a motorhome. I have (hopefully) 30-40 years to travel and see the world, but for the moment, holidays away with Barney and my OH in the UK suit me just fine. Dog friendly hotels are OK, but can be very basic, hence why we are thinking about the motorhome.
