What is it with the far rail at Longchamps; horses (nearly) always come away from it but you need a real brave one like Hurricane Run or Orotorio to take the split. T Durcan was unlucky or impatient not to wait for the gap to open.
Glad to see IM win after my hyperbolic Epsom preview all the same; the first of many I hope(for both of us) . Dangerous I know realising the hyperbollicking one can get here if folk disagree!

Was lucky to keep it.
Bloody awful ride by Durcan went for an non-existent gap , missed a gap and then rode the horse into a pocket - he is even worse than Queally . His ride on Phoenix Tower in the Eclipse was a lesson in how not to ride a finish in a Group 1 .
