It's all over Twitter this morning that More Of That doesn't go at Newbury, due to the ground...........but neither the RP nor the SL websites have been updated to reflect this yet. It was the same with KV yesterday - it took a good hour or more for either website to reflect the news. The SL website is usually first with News updates, yet the RP is the 'real' industry website, and should really be quickest off the mark.

If breaking news is on Twitter, why isn't it immediately reflected on the RP's 'Live News' service? It's yet more evidence of the utter shitboxery of the RP and its website.

Official news sites probably have to go through a process to ensure the information they're receiving is 100% correct before they publish it. They'd get some grief if they jumped the gun and it was found to be incorrect.

I always find it's a similar situation with the BBC when a sports story begins to emerge. They won't put anything out there until they are certain it's correct whereas Sky Sports News seem happy to blurt out any old rumour.

Meh.....fu*ck them anyway...shower of arseholes.

:)

They also had a story about yesterday's All-Weather gamble, under their 'Cheltenham Festival' News tab earlier - now removed. This leaves them with a single item under the 'Cheltenham Festival' News tab; namely the KV story from yesterday, and that's it.

Man, I really hate that mob - even worse than Digger does. They are a shower of gob-shite amateurs.

The point Digger was making on the other thread was absolutely correct. Blatant cheating and not a word from them. Maybe there's a gap in the market for another paper with a bit of a backbone.

That's the problem though isn't it. There's no competition so they can just behave however they want knowing that racing fans don't really have a choice

I vote with coins, and refuse to buy their ****-box of a newspaper.

I am, however, a bit of a hypocrite, because I always use RP website for Form, and think it's top order. It's just everything else about the website that I hate.

I'll say it again. That man should not have a job. Useless with Zero interest in the sport he in charge of reporting on. There are great journos around and the RP wont touch them as they don't suck up the establishment gravy.

Their paper will never replace the Dandy or The Beano but it does come close

As for Twitter unfortunately anyone can Tweet so info can be very unreliable as suggested
