Inter Milan have cancelled a planned tour to play friendlies against Leicester City, Crystal Palace, Norwich City and Portsmouth next week. This despite the fact that their manager and coach said yesterday that the tour would go ahead.

Apart from the fact that they seem to have little idea of the geography of this country, they are behaving in exactly the way that the terrorists would wish.

They will face legal action and I hope that at least they will be hammered financially. I wonder how they would handle being drawn against British teams in the Champions' league or any tournament that mattered?

Please do not transfer this item to the Other Sports board - it is of general interest.

I just don't buy it that have done this to relieve pressure on the security forces. In which case they are a pathetic rabble.

I was planning to watch them play against Palace on Wednesday since i supported them all my life..

What's done is done..

The structure and planning of Inter Milan has always been a bit chaotic from the outside. Compare to AC, Inter has always been a bit too shabby. Mr Moratti although rich is a 'bit' of a loser...he has a bit too many hangers on and relies on them too much, 1 tell him to do this and the other that. Although, he has stepped down from being chairman, he still is, everything but his title. He also makes 'rash' decisions and can get too close to players. This is mirrored by the lack of success in this team, with the players inter have at their disposal, they consistently under- achieved.

The incident with Dida last year, some believe, it was aimed at Moratti, showed their dis-satisfaction with him.

I THINK IT IS EVERYONES RIGHT TO DECIDE WHETHER TO PUT HIS OWN LIFE AT RISK OR NOT.
i cannot see any reason why to accuse inter.
i myself have booked a journey to london at the end of august with my famliy and friends and we are really worried and considering to cancel it.

Wasser - Inter are not due to play in London (where, incidentally, the Australian cricket team are quite happy to play two games that could be of five days duration). Even Crystal Palace's ground is about eight miles south of Central London as the crow flies.

It seems that they have changed their minds thanks to public ridicule and to the likely costs they would have incurred through cancellation.

I'm with the Milanese army,
But London's now enough to alarm me,
I'm worried bombistas may try to harm me,
So before I worry and go barmy,
I'll stay a casa, with my salami.

LEICESTER £250,000 FOR GATE RECEIPTS ....how much are they charging to go in they dont get that many there do they???????I thought Newbury was dear but this beats that surely ...................

They may well get a sell out for Inter. With a capacity of 32,500 that would be an average ticket price of under eight quid - which is cheap.
