Having followed Alpha Centauri for 2 years until her untimely demise I alighted on Albigna last year my horse to follow. Her performance when accelerating from nowhere to win at the Curragh was as exhilarating as that of the former in winning at Ascot. She never had a chance on the tight oval at the Breeders Cup but is hopefully primed to enjoy the open expanse of the Curragh. Search for her on You Tube and you will see an amazing performance.
I’m unashamedly biased but Albigna’s stablemate Alpine Star is a worthy rival and there are several others in what is a very good bunch of 3year old fillies.

Couldn't see a thread for the Irish 2000G so thought I'd piggyback this one.

No bet in the race so no axe to grind but while accepting that Siskin was by far the best horse in the race I think both he and Lope Y Fernandez should be disqualified for the interference they caused. It was a very untidy final half-mile.

Not sure how Well Of Wisdom was allowed to keep that race. I actually backed it but was paid before the result was confirmed so presume the bookie pays the double result. I was pretty sure it would be thrown out, though.

Stewarding in this country is a joke.
