Someone is asking for 200 EW at 10/1 on the Bettfair EW market about Red cossack in the 8:45 at Kempton tomorrow, yet Betfair sportsbook are going 12/1 and 365 are going 11/1.

I've never traded before, is it right?

They can ask until hell freezes over but no one is going to lay them.
Why? Not sure I quite understand you.

Chris, as it stands and at those figures, yes it is a trade.
Just make sure that the Place terms -- eg 1/5th odds 1,2,3,-- are the same on both sides.
Also, stating the bleedin' obvious, halve your stake on the bookmaker side whilst ticking the E/W box. A £100 Lay at 11.0 on Betfair means a risk of £200.

But exercise extreme caution with regard to non-runners and late withdrawals regarding the Place side of the Lay/Bet.
If withdrawals result in a seven runner race, and the particular horse comes in third, you will lose the Place Lay -- and get nothing for third at Bet365.

I haven't done betfair E/W bets yet since they introduced the facility last month. I think if I were to try it I would be more inclined to evenly split between the Lay and Back stakes to try for a free bet rather than adjusting stakes to gain an all-green win or lose.
