My wife often says to me, if that I hadn't met her I would be dead by now, and she might well be right.

I was 26 and leading the life of most single 'valley boys', when a night in meant not going to the pub until 9.00p.m. I hate to think how much that sort of lifestyle would cost today.

To refer to another thread, I often toyed with the idea of alcoholism but I reckoned I couldn't afford it! :shy:
