I'm originally from even further North and on visits at this time of year, right up to September, it is light at midnight. During August, when I used to go more often, it never really got dark, just an eery sort of dusk, even at 1.00 in the morning.
I can vouch that it was light and bright here in Antrim this morning at 3.45am.... I was hanging out of my window telling the rooks to kindly please shut their beaks. Didn't work though so I had to 'go outside and have a word'. :nono:
And that didn't work either.....
Yes, it was still very light dahn sarf at that time, Soba - I would've been hanging out of my window telling the arses in the streets to kindly please shut their gobs, but it's never worked yet, and with a whole month of the Weird Cup ahead of us, I'll just have to get used to the late-night/early a.m. bawling, drunken singing, clapping and yowling.
