Jacqui Coward needed an air ambulance to lift her from the track at Catterick after a heavy fall from Ras Laffan in the opeing selling hurdle; she was knocked out cold and apparently unable to fully regain consciousness. Hoping for good news.

Very bad fall indeed Rory. Hope she's ok and makes a full recovery. Remember reading an article on up and coming P2P jockeys in which one girl compared her to McCoy (at least in terms of will power and deterimination).

Get well soon Jacqui :)

The below (from Sportinglife.com) is a bit more positive...

Jacqueline Coward is reported to be badly concussed but stable after suffering a crashing fall in the opening Home-Tek Lady Riders' Selling Handicap Hurdle at Catterick.
Coward was partnering the Donald McCain-trained favourite Ras Laffan in the two-mile-three-furlong contest before being unshipped at one of the flights in the straight.
Coward had reportedly been drifting in and out of consciousness before the air ambulance arrived but clerk of the course Fiona Needham delivered a more upbeat bulletin on Tuesday evening.
"She's quite badly concussed and has dislocated her shoulder, but she is stable. She is going to be OK, which is the main thing," said Needham.
