I kid you not . Interviewed on Radio 4 this evening his vocie is a ringer for none other than John Maxse - former arch weasel of the Jockey Club PR department .

Terrible album one good song and a pile of crap

Yeah, Blunt's album aint the best either,

Don't worry Ardross, in the Christmas spirit I have composed a song for you - it's about your love for Rooster Booster [RIP] who passed away this week to mint heaven - it's on the General Racing Topics

According to "Dead Ringers" Morrissey thinks that James Blunt is rhyming slang.

Bloody awful stuff and I just cringe every time an interviever asks him about his horrific experience in the army serving in Northern Ireland . Novelty crap

I just think he should let the music speak for itself rather than capitalise on the ex-squaddie schtick . That info clearly only came into the public arena through his own press officer .

The fact it is the top selling album of 2005 would suggest otherwise

The fact you do not like it does not mean it is crap, for instance I do not like jazz but do not call it crap.

Personal tastes are no barometer of the quality of any music

Not in the slightest. Eastenders/Corrie are the most watched watched tv programmes, Jeffrey Archer was a best selling author and that frog song got to number 1. Thick Britain has never been a barometer for good taste.

Every time he comes on to the radio in work there's one thought that always flashes through my mind...

"You could be listening to Jeff Buckley instead".

Roger - sorry but he is dreadful . I know four people who have bought that album and have regretted it .

I like Grace ( don't know any other JB ) but agree with Songsheet that it is a bit patchy

I haven't heard the whole album, and must admit I retune the radio when 'You're Beautiful' comes on, but liked the words of 'Goodbye My Lover' when I heard it the other night. Shame about the voice though. :(

Jeff Buckley - 'Grace' is okay, but his version of Hallelujah is without doubt, the best.
