They are currently on ATR talking about the Guineas weekend.

I would like to say I've been thoroughly comforted with their broadcast thus far and have been really pleased with the nature of both presenters who are demonstrating a high class production here.

Fantastic, Jason really does talk sense and I've really enjoyed listening to him here what a fantastic combination these two are.

A really subtle, informative and high class production.

I enjoyed the bit where after struggling through a review of the Guineas without being able to actually show the races, Cattermole lost it upon hearing that they weren't able to show one of the Ascot races moved to Kempton last week, even though it was 'one of our ones'.
 
Funny you should make a thread re this Bruce.

I was watching these two earlier and thought that Catt is so professional but Weaver is a cringeworthy little prat

Very much the man to follow the party line and lately has just been agreeing with Emms..............say no more.

That's nonsense. She knows her stuff and often gives opinions on shows like the Morning Line that the sometimes unintuitive other panelsits do not. No other female pundits on Four have the confidence or speak with the authority on the horses that Ramsden does.

And to be fair I don't think there is a male that could out-do her on that front either. You can't have too many broadcasters with no natural confidence to speak otherwise you have a stop-start and disjointed show. Nick Luck has developed his over the years but his comes across as a tad engineered at times.

Mehh!! Not for me..

I watched parts of the Sunday Forum on ATR - who is that chap McGrath - he can hardly string two words together - completely disinterested and sleep inducing. They must have someone better than him to wheel out FFS.
 
How you class calling someone a "minger" an 'observation' is a bit beyond me, Colin. Unless you're judging her on an eye-candy basis that is.

Can anyone tell me who the two senior staff that the RP are reporting got stood down on channel 4 are? I can't view the whole article.

One is the regular C4 director, the other producer of the revamped Morning Line. They've effectively been suspended by Highflyer as they are reported to be involved with a rival bidder.
