Very sad news. He was such a nice man and with his wife they did so much good. Desperately unfair for him to die aged just 55 cry

That's very sad - so much compassion and intelligence, with warmth, all gone. I loved the Monkey World films. The horrendous sights the Cronins saw and the desperate measures needed to rescue deliberately-maimed chimps from being disposable tourist attractions were alone worth supporting the charity, let alone all of the conservation and education work done. Two real promoters of popularising animals and their welfare - Steve Irwin and Jim - now gone far too soon.

How sad - they were a lovely couple and he, like Steve Irwin, has such passion for his animals.

I went there a couple of years ago ( I am assuming it's the one near Wool in Dorset)
Very interesting I am sure this sad news will not distract the people there from their work for too long.

That's the thought that occured to me this morning, two genuinely nice men who worked tirelessly to defend those animals most at threat just snatched away in their prime.

Blimey - thats very very sad for everyone involved down there. Went to help out for a bit when I was at college, and visit fairl;y regually ( its not far from mum and dad) - was a real eye opener - they are lovely poeple.

Huge condolances to them all.
