The fabulous sprinter, JJ THE JET PLANE, has suffered a severe leg injury while track-training in Dubai for the Krisflyer and is being flown home to South Africa for treatment and recuperation. His trainer's wife has said that the injury - a core lesion to his medial lower suspensory on his near-fore - wasn't life-threatening or necessarily going to end his illustrious career for good.
JJ has run 26 times, winning 14 races including six Group 1s, racking up over £1.4m in prize money.
