Surprised at the negativity towards Hughes. Surely his record speaks for itself?

So he's prepared to go and ride in my back garden if it gets him a winner. The fact that he's in such demand for diddy horses must mean something.

Is Mark Johnston a duff trainer because he chases winners everywhere and anywhere? Hannon?

What about Flat jockeys like De Sousa who tend not to ride G1 winners because they're out doing the hard graft?

Unfair, in my opinion.
