The documentary about three Irish jockeys (Walsh, Geraghty and Russell) during last season and previously only shown on Irish television will be shown on C4 tomorrow morning (Saturday) at 7am before the Morning Line and also late Tuesday night before the highlights of Tuesday's racing.

Alastair Down doing the voiceover.

One of the joys of having RUK and not buying the Post, is that I manage to completely avoid Down's hackneyed drivel.

Unfortunately, Nick Luck appears intent on following the same path; desperately attempting to convince the viewer that they race just witnessed was the most important and exciting event of all time....until the next one comes along.

I'd be quite happy to have Hislop, Mellish and Neesom do all the Jumps coverage on TV. They can rope in however many poofs they want to do the Flat coverage - it's not as if I'd be watching anyway.

Neesom and Mellish are the men-Lydia has a tremendous sense of her own self importance-her interview with Jamie Steir when the new whip rules were introduced turned me off her.
