Looks if the original thread I started has disappeared........never mind eh?

Surprisingly RED CLUBS a very fast 2-y-o and later a winner of the Haydock Sprint Cup is producing winners over hurdles; two horses winning two races each and a bumper winner, Master Red, at Wetherby yesterday.

Munir horse has a turn of foot based on that showing at Kempton

Reported he had a cut to his knee post race

Something about his performance didn't blow me away with Cheltenham in mind though.

I was actually blown away by that BUT that cut is a worry. It's halfway down the front of the near hind shin and looks quite big. My Dad would have told you that stitches never hold beneath the knee/hock so this is going to be difficult to repair especially so close to Cheltenham. There are ways or repair using glue/special bandaging but from the sounds of it they are already stitching it and it will almost certainly not work.
I would be backing him NRNB.

Blew me away for a juvi He put lengths between himself and the second almost instantly...plenty can win by 10 lengths but not from a standing start like he did.

Sir Erec has suffered a stone bruise but trainer Joseph O'Brien says he is "confident" he will be fit to run at Cheltenham

hannon might be an ew play for Triumph.
Ran very well at Naas Sunday 24 Feb and unlucky as jockey lost his stick.
Has gotten stronger since his Musselburgh win Jan 1 and a strong pace will suit him.
His experience against older animals in his favour also.
