Royal Delta - sells for $8.5 million and stays in training (highest priced paid for a horse in training)

Trailing her is Christmas Kid who brought $4.2 million.

22 lots made from $1,000,000 upwards. The market is incredibly buoyant here right now.

Buyers, Miesque: same-old, newbies - US, foreigners? Can you tell where the biggest investments are coming from (like Dubai/Qatar/new Middle East or Far East or Eastern European money?).

A healthy mixture of American and Euro buyers at the top end with old money and new both represented. The Asian contingent were very active but at the slightly lower levels in high six figures.

Besilu Farm (Ben Leon) bought 7 of those 22 million makers for $22.4 million including Royal Delta who he bought as a birthday present for his wife (take note boys!)

Coolmore bought one for $4.2 million (signed for by Aisling Duignan)

Brushwood (Betty Moran) picked up Unrivaled Belle for $2.8 million.

Adena Springs (Frank Stronach) picked up 5 for $7.7 million

The Werthemier's picked up one mare for $2.4 million

Barronstown (David Nagle) bought one mare for $2.3 million

Summerwind (Frank & Laura Jane Lyon) picked up a half sister to Giant's Causeway for $2.1 million and another mare for $1.5 million

Mark Dedomenico went to $2.5 million for one.

Waratah TBs went to $1.6 million for a Hennessy mare.

Flaxman holdings (Niarchos holding company) went 50k over the seven figure mark for the SA champ Gypsy's Warning.
