Anyone read the report in the post about Henry Cecils winner at Kempton yesterday? Opened at 11/1 instead of 11/2 and instead of saying they made a mistake they statted a phantom gamble and went 11/1, 8/1, 7/1, 6/1, 9/2, 4/1!
Yes, read that in the paper on the way in today - hilarious, but for all the PR men's talk of being hit, you couldn't imagine they lost much if anything. Not sure why bookies are always keen to exaggerate their losses.
