Whoever put the ad with Big Mc and the lad with the tash together shouting at each other needs to take a good long look at themselves. I have the afternoon off, and am availing of watching some racing and working on the laptop. To say they have pissed me off would be an understatement. Its ridiculous. This is from someone who has seen it now for 2 hours. God knows how I will be feeling in a few weeks when its been played to death.

I have resorted to watching the channel on mute whilst working on the Laptop, but the fact that someone got paid, and that big mac is earning out of this ad is really annoying me.

Rant over.

For now.

The Paddy Power ad woman that the Prince is banging is a different Paddy Power ad woman to the one that I like.

I like the schoolmistress in the tight cardigan.

He likes the lady strking poses.

They're both worth a taste, though.

Given the debate over alcohol and naming rights for sporting events, I find it astonishing how some of those bookies ads get away unquestioned. Many (if not the majority) seem to encourage irresponsible gambling, the worst one I can think of being that Skybet ad with the slow motion picture the fella going mental and the "it matters more when there's money on it" (which is also a head wrecker).

Not saying they should be taken off the air or anything, but if people are arguing Heineken shouldn't be allowed to sponsor a rugby competition its surprising more isn't made of it.

That said, I'm comforted in knowing that its people like del boy watching and would never give in to compulsive gambling in any case...

I agree with this wholeheartedly.

There was a debate on the Frontline a while ago about alcohol sponsorship. And somebody mentioned that even the Hennessy Gold Cup should be renamed. It will obviously become the Paddy Power or the Boyledports.

I think gambling and drink advertising should both be banned.
