Ladbrokes refuse to sell poppys

this is going pretty viral on social media at the moment, a lot of backtracking going on by Ladbrokes customer service

Interesting.

Its actually standard company policy and from my time in the shops I completely agree with it. We got a person in once a week asking us to sell something 'for charity' for them and it was easy to refuse with the line that its company policy. I don't think they should climb down from this. You can buy a poppy within 100 yards of every Ladbrokes.

Ladbrokes are now saying it isn't company policy, it was a mistake ;)

Are the social media 'outraged' people aware that its a ******* bookmaker? Can I phone ChildLine and ask them for the fractions on a live one in a maiden in Belewestown? Can I ****.
