Right so, €50 free bet up for grabs in the grand finale. The following can take part:
Diamond Geezer, On the Bridle, Links, Duke of Marmalade, Euronymous (2 chances so please state Euro1 and Euro2) and Tout Seul
Each contestant starts day 1 with €100 bank and must have a bet in every race with a minimum stake of 10% of your bank per race (ie €10 per race) and a max bet of 20% of your bank per race (ie €20 per race). The bet can be anything (win, place, each way, match bet etc etc) as long as you name the bet, the price and the bookie. All bets must be in by 12pm. There will be a little trust involved here so play fair. At the end of day 1, the contestant with the lowest bank is eliminated.
The rest of the contestants carry forward to day 2 and you get to keep what's left of your day 1 bank plus another €100. Again, you must put at least 10% of your opening bank on in each race and you can have up to 20% in each race. So if you had a lucky day 1 and have €150 bank, then you add €100 to it for day 2 and you have €250 bank to play with. But you must have 10% or €25 in each race up to a max of €50 in each race. So you can go through your bank very quickly with a bad day. Whereas the lad with a small €10 bank on day 1 gets €100 on day 2 and starts with €120 and can have €12 per race up to €24 per race. So while his stakes might be lower, he's still in the game with some clever betting. At the end of day 2, the lowest bank gets eliminated.
By the start of day 4, there should be only 4 left to fight it out and good work earlier in the week will pay off. the person with the highest bank at the end of day 4 is the winner!!
In summary
Day 1 = €100 bank
Must have bet in each race
Min bet €10
Max bet €20
1 is eliminated
Day 2 = balance of bank from day 1 + €100
Same betting
Any questions, let me know. I will update each evening except Friday when hopefully Raise The Beat will be winning in Dundalk!!
