I only noticed these at Windsor last week and now it's at Lingfield tomorrow.
I'm not sure whether to take them seriously or not.
They do fall into my area of interest but are they all trying to win or do team tactics get involved?

I haven't been following the initiative but would allow myself to be guided by the prize money on offer.

If you have Class 4 animals racing for £40k the chances are they'll be trying. My problem is that not many of the races I rate go that far down the class ranks as I only check races worth at least £20-£30k. These will contain runners that have run in CL4s so I have to check them but those are the only circumstances when I do check them.

They're a bit messy, and race values can be misleading when reading previous form, but they're valuable and competitive and worth the efffort of delving into, imo.
Don't think team tactics feature much, deffo not on the 'Shergar Cup' scale. AFAIA,anyway.

What are the rules? Do the winnings go into a team pot to be shared out or what? Don’t the trainers have to nominate a pool of horses or something.

The only rules I know is races are restricted to 0-90 horses, and they were declared before the whole shebang started.
I know nothing about team prizes, etc.

Blimey, reet, I thought you knew everything :) . I don’t suppose it makes much difference, but I’m keeping clear.
