Very good first days racing

Oscars Well versus the exciting Arvika Ligennniere in the Novice chase

Our Conor and the latest Mullins French import in the Juvenile hurdle

And 3 to 4 potential very nice ones in the maiden hurdle

Not sure if Oscars Wells will complete the course -I am looking at an ambitious bet on Dylan Ross at a big price.
I had Carlingford Lough marked down as a future Paddy Power or Irish National horse so I am intrigued to see him running over 2 miles and 1 furlong.I think he has any amount of improvement in him.

I agree about Carlingford. JP should have at least a couple winners on boxing day by the looks of it.:)

Noele Meade must have been gutted when Ned Buntline was turned over on his debut over hurdles when very novicey.....he'll no doubt have been well schooled since.

He's been quoted as saying he's the best he's had in a very long time .

With that run behind him I expect him to be backed off the boards tomorrow so I have been backing him in dribs and drabs on the machine from 2.4 to 2.18 before the books open. I'll be surprised if he doesn't open at odds on when the morning prices come up and even more surprised if he's beaten. There's still a bit of money floating about to back him at over evens but I expect he'll drift again before the big boys put their prices up.

Be very disappointed if ARVIKA LIGEONNIERE is beaten. He looked awesome last time maybe a bit too awesome and sometimes when it looks too good to be true it isn't. However if he does win here like he did last time no doubt he'll be slashed for the Arkle and rightly so.

Carlingford Lough looks a bit too obvious running in a handicap for the first time. Paddy Power has installed him as 4/1 fav which is way too short for such an open race. Lead Kindly Light at 6/1 ew or better if you can get it looks the bet to me.

Rest of the meeting looks a bit too scary for me.

Our Conor a NR due to coughing btw.

Cracking card and Carlingford Lough is a lot better than he's show thus far over fences though a ridiculous price tomorrow and far more likely to win a decent pot in the Spring time on better ground.

The novice chase looks exciting.

I'm not entirely convinced by the Mullins yolk. Oscars Well oozes class for me.

Well spotted Granger......Looks like he's gone there to ride Umpact. He was very racy for the first half of his debut run, but then settled and won very easily quickening right away from them. Hard to tell how good he is but the 2nd was well fancied that day and he trounced him. I had a good few quid on but he's drifted back out again to 2.64 so no one seems to be overly convinced........fingers crossed he's the one DR's gone there for.

Arvika L. is the most underpriced horse of all of Xmas. Beating a slow 3 miler is very, very different to beating Oscar Wells.

this is ther best 2m novice of the season and i can see oscar wells winning this even though i am of the opinion better ground is more to his liking

Leopardstown Day 2

Sizing Europe is the star on show tomorrow and should account for these with ease.

Brilliant future champions novice hurdle with Jezki, Sizing Rio and Waaheb

Yet to look at the paddy power form fully

Can make a case for around 20 of them in the Paddy Power

Safer to narrow down to a shortlist of four
