This afternoon's meeting at Lingfield has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track.
Course officials had planned to hold an inspection at 0800 GMT due to the threat of overnight rain but clerk of the course Neil MacKenzie Ross was forced to draw stumps even earlier with the situation deemed untenable.
"Unfortunately we have had to abandon the meeting due to waterlogging as we had around 10 millimetres of rain overnight," said MacKenzie Ross.
"There are areas where the ground is unsafe and it is continuing to rain so racing cannot go ahead."
