This morning on trying to open my ICON of T-H on my desktop, it ask that I should log in, is this something new or have I a glitch on my p-c...Did you have to log in also today??????

It could just be your temp internet files have reached the limit and windows is automatically deleting some files to create space for new ones

Clear them out (don't delete cookies) and see if it does it again

I have to log in every time i visit.
I've clicked the 'recocognise' option endlessly, but nothing happens

In addition, evrey time when I log in, I'm taken back to the 'welcome' page - most annoying
I look on it all as just another of life's little c*ck-ups

it sounds like the computer isn't storing your cookie correctly, check your internet security settings and allow it to accept cookies from us, or try clearing out your temporary files

Thanks. I'll try to work out sometime what that means and how to do it! :o
I'm a technophobe... and aren't cookies are what you eats at teatime, in Uhmurricuh?

"Teatime" - in America? Heads, you'd get some pretty strange looks if you came up with that one in Arkansas! Cookies, with milk for kids and coffee for Mom and Pop, in the morning. Cookies with coffee, as a snack - any time. There's little concept of 'tea' in the US, let alone one of 'teatime', although, bless 'em, they do try to do what they think passes for 'English tea' by putting hot (not boiling) water into a cold teapot occasionally. :( Biscuits are what they eat with savoury meals - and they're nothing like biscuits, either, they're more like an unsweetened scone!
