There were two categories being handed out for the Longines World Racing Awards: The Best Race and the Worlds Best Horse

The Best Race was a tie, the first time in the IFHA History: the first winner was the Qipco Champion Stakes at Ascot, with Calandagan winning that race, also the first Champion Stakes that won the award, that isn't surprising as that was a brilliant race. The Second Winner was the 2025 Japan Cup, Also won by Calandagan, their 2nd win in 2 years, this was an absolute acid trip of a race in the best way. Both Races got a score of 126.25

The Final Category was the Worlds Best Horse: Honestly do I need to say who it is, its Calandagan with a rating of 130! He had a barnstorming 2nd half of the year and is on a 4 G1 Race winning streak. Graffard confirmed that Calandagan will most likely head to Dubai (For the Dubai Sheema Classic), and we still are yet to hear if Masquerade Ball will head to Dubai to compete for the Sheema Classic, the Dubai Turf or stay in Japan for the Osaka Hai.

We also have the top 5, But in reality its a top 2 with 6 entrants because 2nd place is a 5 WAY TIE:

1. Calandagan (IRE) 130
2. Forever Young (JPN) 128
2. Ka Ying Rising (NZL) 128
2. Masquerade Ball (JPN) 128
2. Ombudsman (IRE) 128
2 Soverignty (USA) 128
