Lost Betting Slips

Morning,

I've just come out of the bookmakers this morning around half an hour ago whilst putting the betting slips in my back pocket they have blown away in the wind.

I've gone through my route back and there seems to be no evidence of them at all, is there any thing I can do? some pretty heavy sums on those slips.

Absolutely fecking gutted I really am.
 
Go into the betting shop you placed them and explain the situation. They will ask you to write them out again to compare your handwriting against the original copy they have on file.

Do all this pre race, and that should ensure should any of them win, they won't pay out to any dishonest chancer that happens to find your slips.
 
Bring the office cutie on a romantic liaison....you should have no trouble getting 11/2 on 5/1 shots or collecting lost dockets then Bruce.

Thanks for the reply David, much appreciated and sorry for not replying sooner.

I went in there and the young gentlemen knew me straight away as I was the first to place bets in the morning and he asked me to follow the same procedure as you said but also asked for times they were placed but given I was the first it made things much easier - could you imagine trying to do this at 4pm!

Anyway it was all to no avail anyway.
