Love this. A enterprising pub landlord

Shameful behaviour. The landlord is a disgrace to his profession.

I also note that Mr Howells died directly or indirectly as a result of alcohol poisoning ( most likely consumed at the pub).
So this leech landlord could arguably be culpable for manslaughter for selling a an already drunken man even more drink above lethal limits.

(Is there any legislation in the UK prohibiting a pub landlord from dispensing more alcohol to a customer who is demonstrably and visibly drunk, btw?)

Thats doesnt really interest me too much. What i am curious about is because alcohol is a preservative, would the body decompose more slowly? Y

I would reckon, EC, that even in the best of economic times this money-obsessed turd landlord would behave no differently.

Scum like him who is prepared to conceal the body of one of his patrons for four days portrays an inconsistency with any respect for life or human dignity. Irrespective of any economic climate, borderline sociopaths like him don't change their spots.
 
I think he had a fair defence. He should have just told them that he was trying to keep the fliess off the food. Health and safety and all that
