It`s gonna be mainly Indie toss like always isn`t it?

I dont mind the Artic Monkeys, but The Editors??? Shite.

Oh, it`s on BBC4 now and the fact that Mogwai aren`t nominated indicates what tone deaf twats the people who decided the finalists are.

Mercury Music Prize

Judges are a bit biased towards indie music

Mogwai are a Post-Rock band from Scotland and are ace, they should be amongst the nominees

I`m annoyed

And a bit drunk

I rang Ladbrokes a year ago and asked for a price of the Arctic Monkeys to win it this year, bar stewards wouldn't give me one though.

Edit - Cheers Ladbrokes!

Muse's album was better.

Too much hype behind the Monkeys.

Mogwai are very good.

Forward Russia should have been nominated if it's about diversity and good music.

As should the Delays.

Grrr. Grr I say.

artic monkeys album is the first ive bought in a while where i can press play on track 1 & not have to skip a track. there is alot of attention on them but its all worthy in my opinion. Kasabian is what i call a hyped up band. their first album was praised endlessly, i found 4 songs to be worthy of playing all the wya through without skipping. artic monkeys fully deserve every piece bit of praise.
