Merry Christmas to you, too G A and everyone else here on the forum!

I am looking forward to the son and heir returning from the Smoke on Sat evening. Christmas Day sees the arrival of my Ma-in-Law, who has refused point blank to cook a large Christmas meal for my husband (still not divorced!!) and his new partner and her three children. She is a pretty fit and mentally alert 81 yo but has just completed a major house move after being widowed and naturally would like to be waited on for a change! Ma-in-Law's eldest son is with his wife's parents, so my sense of duty kicked in and she is thrilled to be spending the day with her only grandson.

She is staying the night here, which is a great relief to Giles and me as we were sure one of us would have had to drive her home and therefore be off the booze till the evening.

Other than that, it's business as usual and even busier, as obviously Rosie isn't working over Christmas and funnily enough, the stock don't get the Christmas idea.....

5 + 3 = ?
