I've just received a text message from PDJ asking me to let you know that at the Year 11 Leaver's Ball he is at, the tune Saturday Night by Whigfield (a very good group, allegedly) is playing......

Maybe you're not the only one who appreciates the talent, then!!!!! ;)

Thought Whigfield was a soloist?
Learn something new every day.

Do you know if they've played Chesney Hawkes yet Dom?

I can tell you that at our school dance Queen's Don't Stop Me Now got the heavy treatment from our S6.

I must say, I thought it was brill seeing youngsters appreciate some real music.

Dom, It is good to know that young people still appreciate the talents of this very good group. Hopefully they were also playing some of Feargal Sharkey's music (before he became The Housemartins).

Hmmm....ok then, Tom!!!

Paul - have you come back down to earth yet after retaining your crown as Best Dressed Teacher??!!

That wasn't hard - in second came a man in a tank top and third a woman in a pinafore dress.

I have tried to post a picture on here but can't do it. I used trig's utility but the file is too big. If any techies can help then great.

My friend Colin, who has owned or part owned some very good horses under both codes (including Cool Equiname and Lord Kintyre) is Chesney Hawkes's uncle. Chesney's dad Les was one of the Tremeloes.

I didn't know they had a head waiter at a school disco

" Your Turkey Twizzlers and Chips with Diet Coke madam "

Your collar looks a bit out of shape .

Ardross, I think you would genuinely drop dead were to you say anything complementary about anyone. Me, Godolphin, krizon, Richard Hughes, the list goes on and on Try being nice, it may leave you with fewer wrinkles...

Now you've shown us you know how to spell it, Arders, try being it occasionally. Not too much too soon, since you don't want to plunge into a severe healing crisis. Just a pleasant little compliment once a week for a start, leading up to - ooh, maybe being kinder to your fellow travellers through life as much as every other day? :o
