Heard a dog fart for the first time ever. Yes I've got the awful whiff before, followed by an uneasy shifting by the canine in question to another part of the room, but I'd never actually heard any dog let rip.

Got a puncture. Went to a local garage to get it fixed. Garage said the tyre had been punctured in the same place before and therefore it couldn't be fixed. Needed a new tyre. I don't remember ever having a puncture on the car before but wife thinks, maybe, a slow puncture may have been noticed and fixed at a previous service. Still think they were taking the piss to sell me a tyre.

Shower has a minor leak. Wife tried to fix leak by twisting the on/off turny thing further than it could go. Need new Shower now.

Won first multi-table poker tournament. Took 3 and a half hours. Lost half of the winnings back on a ring table in two minutes. It's good to share.

Yep, my dog lets the occassional one go (usually when he is sat on my lap!) h:) , and my cat blows off too Melendez. Luckily, they are normally in different rooms when these "incidents" take place. :D

This should make at least one person on here laugh...

Parked my six week old truck in yard (flat). Went indoors, fed dogs, put on washing, tidied up, and 20 mins later had worked up enough enthusiasm to go back up to office and, on my way across room, saw to my amazement said truck reversing. Funny, I thought, no-one came in for the keys... why are they reversing into the round cattle feeder... ?

That was because bo one was in it.... dipstick here hadn't put hand-brake on properly and, as brake pads cooled, it very, very slowly started to reverse..... but instead of reversing in a straigtish line, naturally Sod's Law came into play and it reversed into the only object that would have inflicted any damage higher than the bumper within a 50m radius....

It was a Monday.

In my defence, I am still in automatic mode, as the previous truck was automatic and the reason why I changed to this one, which is manual. And to think I used to get moaned at for always leaving my vehicles in gear...

Mel, you done well
To spell
Miscell
aneous
Which can be
a bit of a
paineous!

Excellent stuff, Mel. You should win a Martini Award for comedy: dry, zesty, and goes down very well.
