People who want bad things to happen just so they can be proved correct.

Like my Dad who I am convinced wants Ireland to lose at soccer so that he can go on about how shite they are.

My boss, who is wants us to lose money so that he can bang on about excessive earnings volatility.

People who predict a bird flu pandemic, and who seem to be dying for news to confirm that it is on the way.
 
The best way to keep us cheerful is to initiate a cull of Miserable Gits. Perhaps we could set the under-used hunts onto this?
 
Lighten up BTB. This forum was lacking a good, healthy (excuse the pun) discussion topic, whether it was sarcastic, tongue in cheek by some or not. I for one am definitely not "dying" for the avian flu to arrive in the UK - on the contrary. If it happens it happens.

Today we have managed to cover the whole forum today with the same subject, and, although it is an extremely serious subject, it added a bit of life to an otherwise very boring day in my office today and may have got people thinking about how it could affect our beloved racing if it does eventually hit these shores.

By the way, shame you had to start another thread about it... Brian will be absolutely fuming! :D

Our tabloid press, who are gagging for England to fail spectaculary in Germany so they can say we told you so. The idiot in The Star...Woolnough? is the biggest culprit.

What about the twats in the betting shop screaming for the leader to fall at the last cos theyve got a 20p double running and throwing the pen and crumpled ticket at the screen when it doesn't. I didn't even get a reprimand last time.
