OK, through the constant slagging off of what posts get deleted or edited, another mod has quit (the second recently).

From now on anyone publicly criticising any moderation that has gone on on the forum will be instantly banned.

If you don't like something that has been done, PM the person who did it and if you get no luck then PM me. DO NOT post on the board.

For the record if something is deleted or edited whoever did it doesn't have to give a reason. However, if they are asked privately then usually they will tell you, I know I will. Just because someone doesn't reply instantly it doesn't mean they won't, but we do have lives away from here.
 
I agree that the PM facility is the ONLY way to settle these matters.

On that subject, one of my posts that happened to be deleted at the same time as Kathy's was addressed to me by PDJ in a PM without me having to ask.

He PM'd me explaining that he deleted the post and why. His explanation was accepted by me and agreed with, the bottomline being the harmony of the forum.

So hats off to him for doing so.
 
I've been off the forum a few days but there seems to be a good few threads missing. Is there a problem with the forum or something?
 
Actually maybe I'm wrong. The only thread I cant find is the "How drunk is Gearoid?" one which contained life or death advice from Bar the Bull. Any idea where its gone?
 
I thought Lady Turnips was just doing you skiving blokes a favour while you besported louchely at Chelters? Or are you trying to slyly win her back into permanent moderating duties? <_<
