I thought last Summer was bad enough. This looks as if it's in the week and probably the month if the Azores high has been pushed south again. I have to blame self-righteous new labour for this and their sanctimonious smoking ban. IT started on July 1st 2007 and hasn't stopped since it seems. Truly suicide weather:mad:

It can do all it wants for the next week and a half - I'll be over the Pond!

Mind you, apparently this is the rainy time of year in NY State but I suppose it can't be any worse than here and I'll be on a bus most of the time.

My OH is a farmer and told me this morning its not due to get better before the 20th due to the gulf stream . Hes ok as they got silage cut a few weeks back, and haylage last week, anyone whose waiting for hay will be biting their nails a bit. We're trying to decide what day to go to the Show this week but seen 3 different forcasts, each one has a different day as being better, but they all involve rain at some point.

As much as 60mm forecast for here on Wednesday on ground already waterlogged. We have had as much rain in the first week of July as we did for all of June.

Where did I leave that ark last year ?

This is Bollock5, this is supposed to be July - mild and overcast ain't good enough. Gimme global feckin warming NOW!!!!!

Your 'location' says London Rory. Having seen the forecast for the next 24 hours I think there'll be a few of us moaning our effing heads off tomorrow. In actually looks like a re-run of that hideous day last year where it rained stair rods for about 7 hours constantly. I really thought there was soemthign apocalyptically biblical about that day. Does anyone live in Teweksbury.

Eastbury in the Lambourn valley nearly flooded again last week almost a year to the day after the big flood last year. The woman over the road from the yard has built a two foot wall round her house which saved her - but some of the village worthies are chuntering about it!

It has stopped light shows SATURDAY PM it,s depressing all this rain how come our water bills are not going down?

This and last year's summers in Britain remind me very much of the ones I used to experience in the 1950s.

With Earth's "warmest year since records began" now 10 years in the past, and a significant cooling over the last 2 years, who's for global warming?

Not Tewkesbury but Gloucester so not too far away. Poured down the early part of the week and then again on Friday but better yestarday. Sun's out and it seems quite nice here today.
