Is that with PP, Gearoid? 5/1 Queen looks kinda big for the Brit Award, & Jude Law is a great price at 10/1 for 007. James Purefoy is interesting, too.

All William Hill. I'm with you on the queen bet. I put up the James Bond one because BrianH advised Clive Owen about a year or so ago. I think he was 7/1 with SportsInteraction at the time.

Ah, cheers.

I guess the theory behind the Queen one is that being a Brit Award it'll be decided mainly by teeny-boppers!!

The James Bond book is pretty interesting - I really do think Jude Law is the right type to make a good Bond & is probably a fairly obvious choice so the 10/1 looks very big to me. As well as James Purefoy, Christian Bale strikes me as a Bond type, too.

Wuthering Heights was released in 1978. That's 27 years ago. How can it win this award?

There must be a few names missing off that James Bond list. For instance no BrianH or Merlin

I would like to nominate myself and Muttley as the next Bond girls.

Talking of James Bond..................... :o :D

A very confident James Bond walks into a bar and takes a seat next to a very attractive woman.
He gives her a quick glance, then casually looks at his watch for a moment.

The women notices this and asks "Is your date running late?" "No" he replies, "Q's just given me this state of the art watch and I was just testing it" The intrigued woman says "A state of the art watch? What's so special about it"?
Bond explains, "It uses alpha waves to talk to me telepathically" The lady says, "What's it telling you now?" "Well it says you are not wearing any knickers..."

The woman giggles and replies, "Well it must be broke because I am wearing knickers!"

Bond tuts, taps his watch and says, "Damn thing's
an hour fast".
