I joined the M5 from the M50 on Monday evening and pulled off at Strensham services.

This must be the darkest service station carpark I have ever used. Kidding you not, as I stretched my legs there were a number of people wandering around having 'lost' their car in the darkness.

Seasons Greetings - MR2

If its Strensham then most of them have probably been there since mid September!!! Were there any caravans in evidence.

I had a funny experience today too. I went to the cash point, and put the card in with a degree of trepidation. As the ATM consented to pay me, a childs cheer rang up. I looked round to see and excited child sitting in his buggy, bouncing up and down, clapping his hands, and generally cheering the deliverance of cash against all expectations. It was kind of surreal. There's a kid celebrating the fact a cash points paid me out. What d'you know kid

I have been to every service station in the U.K playing the fruit machines. My favourite has to be Oxford and the worst probally Fleet

Their switching the street lights off in mid Wales owing to a shortage of monies [honest] a guy, a carer in the community just paid £££££ to have his village lights put back on again.... having already paid their council tax...........what next! One might ask???????????
