Exactly the same reasons we had, Dom!      We'd slept net-free for some time, until we finally got a proper house (i.e. made of brick and with a tile roof!), where the Government had installed mozzie nets in all the bedrooms.  My parents tried theirs out as a bit of a novelty, but due to my Mother's bed-thrashing habits, she got tangled up in it, pulled it off the ceiling, and then they both had to wrestle themselves out of the mess in the early hours.  It stayed down ever after!  Yuk, citronella coils were something that some people burned.  You could hardly breathe - which was one way of solving the mozzie problem!   :blink:   Good luck.  I'm going to buzzzzzzzzzzzzeeeeeeeee off to bed now...
