I suppose it depends what your after. I use Soulseek, and whilst there are probably better sites out there a lot of the music i download is pretty obscure so they suit me fine.

Ah well there was a problem with the site I usually use so I decided to be a good girl and pay for the song I wanted. Popped along to the HMV site, joined up and they kindly credited my account with a quid which was more than enough to pay for the song I wanted It was very easy to use and I'd be happy to use them again under similar circumstances.
