Thought it my be interesting to go through my approach. First post is a flow chart type explanation and I’ll go through each segment afterwards.

On second thoughts I think I’ll just leave it since it’s got a granny and eggs flavour that’s too much given the expertise on here. Got a bit carried away trying out a flow chart app :)

Sorry, Steve, only just picked up on this.

Yes, that’s why everything is born from my tracker which (hopefully) pinpoints horses ready to rock.
 
As the price, I see, is a factor when deciding stakes, I might argue that if the horse shortens, I'd be more likely to cash out with a slight loss.

The reason is that whenever a horse of mine is backed early during the day of the race, it invariably loses. Far more often, the selections that drift end up winning.
