Looking at that pencil-thin saddle, I reckon it might be the only baby you'll have, Euro!
I agree, that cannot be comfortable :o

Last summer I did a fair amount of cycling-mainly to and from work(and home for lunch) -about 3 miles each way.I lost 22lbs in the space of ten or so weeks but lost momentum when the wife broke her ankle and had to drive her to work every day.For me its the only way to lose weight and I look forward to resuming the cycling in the next week or so.
I cycle a Claude Butler mountainbike-paid about€450 for it after Beef or Salmon won at Punchestown 2 years ago.

Does that mean you are better in small fields and on soft ground?

Would you struggle to adapt to conditions in England? [/b][/quote]
I have a bad back,go well when fresh and I am slightly inconsistent. And as Lydia Hislop would say I have my knockers.

My dad always says if he could be reincarnated he would like to be a ladies bike seat.
ARSE of a job FUDGE................. :P

I hope you have had my emails too I just sent another...........................

Luke - I don't think you'd have 'em too much longer after a couple of nasty jolts on Euro's bike! From :o to  quite quickly, and not painlessly, either, I reckon!

Did the annual ritual last weekend, tidied the shed out, put all the Summer furniture out and wheeled out the bikes, pumped up the tyres, oiled the chains, did a test ride for 100 yards............then put them away until next year :P

An Italian company called Biemme do these excellent bib shorts/tights that have padding in the right area. Dear but worth every penny.

Neither the bike's nor the motorbike's need for special gear seem very appealing - with the first you have to tack up like a Gay Biker spread, and with the second you have to spend the whole day sweating buckets as a Freddie Mercury lookalike. Nope - just a regular bicycle with a comfy seat, or a car, thanks!
