Nathaniel

Was down as in training a few days ago, but no longer, according to France Galop.

He's fine (unless something has just happened) the plan is the Eclipse and King George.

Gosden: "We are aiming Nathaniel at the Eclipse, in which he might meet his old mate Frankel but something has to take him on.

"Nathaniel was immature last year and has strengthened up over the winter, and the plan after the Eclipse will be to have a crack at another King George."

He also has entries in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes and the Hardwicke in June but may not be ready for either of those. Not sure about Sandown. That was the plan earlier on, but I think they are looking at the back end now.

Ah ha, I've worked out why I couldn't see him on France Galop. Newsells Park Stud have bought a share in him from Lady Rothschild, so he wasn't down as being hers on there.

They're hoping to stand him alongside their new acquisition, Campanologist and current stallions Mount Nelson & Equiano
