You got some funny ideas about horses not being off...if he was stopped why did James Bowen come flying home...obviously that drew attention to the horse did it not? Last thing you would want when stopping one.
The truth is Bowen overdid the waiting targets and while others were taken off their feet trying to catch the leader his mount eventually got going last of all and run past a hoard of beaten horses. He covered the the ground late on much faster than the winner but that is only to be expected...personally I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole the gallop they go on the Betfair Hurdle as he could easily be taken off in his feet in what will be a much better race than Cheltenham was. Chances are Nicky could l be thinking Festival for him
