Saeed Bin Suroor – Tuesday 30[SUP]th[/SUP] May

Leaders Legacy (OR 94), Dream Castle (OR 113) – 7f

Leader’s Legacy led at a good pace, but it was the Frankel colt, Dream Castle who picked up smartly to quicken up by 2L. He’s in the St James Palace at Ascot, but connections are possibly considering the Jersey Stakes on the Wednesday for him.

Don’t Give Up (Kieren Fallon)(Prov 89), Moseeb (2yo Invincible Spirit x Boastful) - 6f

Don’t Give Up who was an impressive maiden winner at Kempton led the very highly regarded 2yo Moseeb in a strong gallop on the Limekilns and it was the 2yo who was going best at the end of the gallop. He is a 2yo with tons of potential and is one of the yards most exciting prospects. He may debut in a maiden at Goodwood on the 23[SUP]rd[/SUP] of June.

Sir Michael Stoute

Wednesday 31[SUP]st[/SUP] May (Limekilns)

Thikriyaat (led), Poet’s Word (Impressed) – 8f
Dubka (Ryan Moore)(One paced), Abingdon (Ted Durcan)(Burst clear) – 8f
Mustashry (went well), Frontispiece – 8f

Saturday 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] June (Al Bahathri)

Commodity (led, one paced), Mianstream (Improved a lot), El Hayem (Went nicely, ready to win) – 7f
Thikriyaat (led at strong pace), Ulysses (Ryan Moore)(Drew clear) – 8f
Mustashry (led, strong pace), Poet’s Word (Burst clear) 8f
Dubka (Moderate), Abingdon (In great form) – 7f

Poet’s Word will go up in class and trp at Royal Ascot for the Hardwicke Stakes but the Poet’s Voice colt is one of a number of horses looking like they could be a real class act for the Stoute yard this summer. Impressing in gallops with solid 100 rated horses lately he is a horse to stay on the right side of.

Abingdon is a filly who has had injuries but her work has been very eye catching lately. The fact she needs fast ground is preventing her from returning to the track but when she does she should be a big force in a listed/group 3 over 12f.

Splash Around is no superstar but the 3yo Nathaniel colt had been working very well before he was 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] on Thursday over 14f. He’s crying out for 2m and there are races to be won off 79.

El Hayem is definitely the Stoute yard banker for when he runs and I would ignore his poor effort on soft ground at Newbury last time and for a big horse the race probably came too quickly after Chester. When the ground dries out he will be a good thing in a 7-8f handicap off 92. He is arguably the best handicapped horse in the Stoute yard.

Others Not Featured On The Gallops

Mori continues to work nicely at home ahead of a crack at the Ribblesdale and she done a nice solo gallop on Saturday morning, 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] lot on the Al Bahathri. Ryan rode her and he is pleased with how she is progressing.

Superiority Complex showed little on debut at Newbury but she is better than that and she has been working well with winners. She done a nice gallop Saturday morning 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] on the Al Bahathri with Midnight Vixen and she is one who could run well in a maiden soon at a decent price.

Smart Call is a filly who ran well at York on her first run for the yard and we saw her impress on Thursday morning on the Trial ground with Parlance who she left in her wake, she will be a big player at Ascot.

Crystal King (2yo Frankel Colt) is another showing all the right signs in his early work and whilst he is a month off a run, he is a smart sort. He may be entered in the Chesham but our contacts tell us that Sir Michael is more keen on a run at Newbury in early July with him.

John Gosden

31[SUP]st[/SUP] May – Limekilns

Present Tense (led), Shutter Speed (Burst clear, very very smart) – 8f
Pealer (led), Wings Of Desire (Frankie Dettori)(Nicely went clear) – 8f

3[SUP]rd[/SUP] June – Limekilns

Maverick Wave, Jack Hobbs (Rab Havlin)(Easily best) – 8f
Pealer (led), Wings Of Desire (Cantered clear) – 8f

Wings Of Desire is our horse to note this week and having worked with some nice sorts he has been given a regular lead horse lately. He impressed in both these recent gallops and he is being aimed at the King George this year possibly using the Eclipse as a trial run.

Shutter Speed heads for the French Oaks and is in bouncing form, she will win that.

Luca Cumani

31[SUP]st[/SUP] May – Limekilns

Kitty Boo, Dabara – 8f
- Easy work, but Dabara was carrying 10lb. Kitty Book was on top at the end of the gallop.

3[SUP]rd[/SUP] June – Limekilns

Bedouin (Spencer), La Rav, Banksea (Went clear) 8f - Banksea is confirmed for the Hunt Cup, he is really coming into himself.
Tangled Thread, Paris Rooftops (Best) – 8f - Paris Rooftops runs at Goodwood on Sunday, she is a smart filly who has improved significantly since debut.

Michael Bell

3[SUP]rd[/SUP] June – Peat Moss

Ray The Money (led), Wonder Of Dubai (Impressed) – 7f - Big improver, ahead of the handicapper.

Arabian Hope Impresses In Sunday Morning Gallop

Saeed Bin Suroor took Arabian Hope up the Limekilns this morning and the Distorted Humour filly worked very impressively under Chris Catlin. Working over the extended 7f off the chute, she was led by Hersigh who runs on Tuesday. Kevin Stott who was in to work Hersigh before heading off to Nottingham went a nice gallop, but under Catlin Arabian Hope burst 3L clear for a hand ride and looked in smart form. There is every chance she may head to Newbury on Thursday for a Listed race over 10f where she will be a big player, she holds an entry on Friday at York, but I would be very surprised if connections meant that entry, as she would not have the speed for 6f.

Gallop Reports

6[SUP]th[/SUP] – 10[SUP]th[/SUP] June

Charlie Appleby

Wednesday 7[SUP]th[/SUP] June – Moulton Paddocks / Snailwell Gallop

Emirates Skycargo (lead horse), Hawkbill (William Buick) – 7f Upsides
- Hawkbill continues his progress ahead of Royal Ascot as he worked nicely upsides his regular lead horse. Sitting 2L behind early, he moved effortlessly upsides and travelled nicely on the bridle throughout. This was a pleasing work out.

Flash Fire, Night Circus (Improving) – 7f
- Flash Fire has always been a useful work horse at home and he came through his first real serious gallop since injuring himself at Meydan in good order. He sat in behind Night Circus and the pair moved nicely throughout. Night Circus didn’t stay 10f last time out but is a nice 3yo colt who the yard think highly of. He is entered in the St James Palace but connections will probably sight a listed race over a mile for him instead. He is coming along nicely.

Fashion Theory, Wuheida (James Doyle)(First serious gallop) – 8f
- Wuheida has had her fair share of troubles since last season but James Doyle put her through her paces with Fashion Theory as connections plot a return to the track with the Marcel Boussac winner. It remains 50/50 whether she will head to Ascot or not, but connections feel she will definitely be capable of holding her own in the top level this season. Fashion Theory led her here and whilst this filly is only rated 76, her work at home has always been of a high standard. I would expect to see her make short work of her handicap mark soon, if the opportunity presents itself.

Michael Bell

7[SUP]th[/SUP] June – Racecourse Side – Back Of The Flat (The Summer Gallop)

Ice Dancing (sat 2[SUP]nd[/SUP], needed to be nudged out to stay upsides), Armagnac (Led, taking keen hold, went very easily, could have gone clear) – 7f

Comprise (Doesn’t show much at home, led), Hart Stopper (Went well, asked to quicken and went 1L up) – 6f

Becuna (Gavin Lerena)(nudged out last), Shimmering Light (Improving), Three Duchesses (Led,best of the three, not extended) – 8f

Maori Bob (Sat 3L down early, travelled smartly), Dream Machine (led at nice pace) – 7f

The Major – 7f solo gallop Steady

10[SUP]th[/SUP] June – Racecourse Side – Watered Gallop (Peat Moss)

Fire Brigade (solo gallop) – 5f Breeze

Rays The Money (led), Merlin (In good form, went on nicely) – 5f

Graceland (led, 2L in front as lead horse), Sea The Stars x Almamia, Nathaniel x Atiza (Went on by 3L from the other two, nice type), Poets Voice x Unex Mona Lisa – 5f steady first gallops

Arabian Jazz (led at nice pace, always in command), Camelot (F)(Green but stuck to task to be fair 2[SUP]nd[/SUP]), Ruperts Lass (Struggled) – 5f

Big Orange (solo gallop)(in good form) – 8f

Notes

Three Duchesses once again looks in good form and she worked well in her group on Wednesday morning. She has been expensive to follow at times, but a small race would be within her grasp soon enough.

Armagnac was the most impressive of Wednesday’s workers and he travelled much better than his companion. Despite still being a maiden a mark of 69 is not beyond him and he shapes as if he may do better over middle distances. He doesn’t hold any entries at present but is one to keep note of.

There were less workers on Saturday and the speedy Arabian Jazz again went well with a couple of modest 2yo’s. She was being aimed at Royal Ascot but sadly suffered a setback on Monday morning and will now likely miss the Royal meeting.

Graceland looked in good form as she led a bunch of 2yo fillies up in front of the Gredley’s racing manager. The three fillies are at differing stages of their education but you couldn’t help but be impressed by the ease in which the Nathaniel filly out of Atiza went, staying some 2-3L in front of her companions and looking enthusiastically like she wanted to catch up Graceland. She is a filly we will monitor. The Sea The Stars filly still looked green but went ok, whilst it was all too much for the Poets Voice filly who is very backward.

Merlin who was not raised for winning a maiden (rated 79 prior) is a gelding who is really coming together and he got a nice lead off Ray’s The Money in his gallop. He is running today at Haydock and the step up to 7f will suit. He has a nice looking horse of Andrew Balding’s to beat on paper but the way he is working at home suggests he can go close.

Saeed Bin Suroor

7[SUP]th[/SUP] June – Limekilns

Glassy Waters (led), Leshlaa (Kieran Fallon), Good Run, Tamleek (Chris Catlin)(Went 5L clear) – 7f Good Work
- A strong gallop in which Tamleek worked the house down. Sitting 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] early, he moved through effortlessly under Chris Catlin before stretching right away from three useful companions. Good Run struggled in the gallop.

Creek Walk, Steady Pace – 7f Upsides

Gold Star (led), Mutarabby (On top) – 7f Good work
- Gold Star is a nice unraced sort from an illustrious family of winners, but it was the thrice raced maiden Mutarabby who really impressed. Working very nicely he showed a lot of speed here and will be suited by the drop to a mile when he runs on Wednesday at Haydock. He wont be a maiden for much longer.

Hersigh (led), ARABIAN HOPE (Daragh O’Donohoe)(100% Banker Bet when runs)(Impressively powered clear) – 7f
- As mentioned last week Arabian Hope has really been catching the eye in her work and led once again by Hersigh she is entered in a few places this week but connections hope she can get in the valuable Randox Health Handicap on Saturday at Sandown where the stiff mile will be right up her street. She is a seriously well handicapped horse and she will win anywhere she runs within reason.

9[SUP]th[/SUP] June – Limekilns

Youmkin (led), Thunder Snow (Burst clear) – 7f
- Thunder Snow has really come on since his 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] in the Irish Guineas and he impressed this morning. Led by Youmkin he opened up nicely under a hand ride, going some 6L clear with ease.

Winning Story (led), Tumbaga – 7f
- Tumbaga has been a hard horse to train but he is really coming to himself at present and worked well this morning. He ideally wants 10f and connections have the John Smiths in mind for him.

Team Meeting, Perfect Sense – 7f

American Hope, Extra Mile (Best) – 7f
- The useful American Hope (rated 106) gave a lead to twice raced maiden Extra Mile this morning and the daughter of Frankel really caught the eye under her regular work rider. She worked impressively getting well on top at the end of the gallop and should have no trouble losing her maiden tag before long. Entered on Sunday.

10[SUP]th[/SUP] June – Limekilns

Leader’s Legacy (led), Tamleek (Held together) – 7f

Next Stage (led), Dream Castle (Went 3L clear) – 7f
- Dream Castle continues to improve and impress in his work and connections are considering the Jersey for the son of Frankel. He’s in good form.

Golden Goal, Steady Pace – 7f

Migyaas (led), Arabian Hope, Red Galileo (1/2L Best) – 7f
102 rated Red Galileo came through his latest test nicely over 7f this morning finishing the gallop 1/2L up on Arabian Hope (94) who is considered well handicapped. The pair pulled some 5L clear of Migyaas (73) who still went ok. Red Galileo and Arabian Hope remain horses to stay on the right side of.

Bin Battuta, Really Special – 7f

Ed Dunlop

6[SUP]th[/SUP] June – Al Bahathri

Saham, Titan (best) – 7f
Carol, Michael’s Mount (2L best) – 7f

7[SUP]th[/SUP] June – Limekilns

Alemaratalyoum, Global Applause – 6f
Amlad (best), Red Master – 7f
First Quest, Sileel (Easy) – 7f
Sagely, Capricious Cantor (About 1-2L clear) – 7f
Trip To Paris, Warrior Prince (3L clear)(Entered Friday at Sandown) – 7f

Notes:

Not much to note to be honest, but Warrior Prince looks in very good form and worked with the smart Trip To Paris, he is entered at Sandown on Friday and should be in with a good chance there.

John Gosden

9[SUP]th[/SUP] June – Limekilns

Maverick Wave, Jack Hobbs (Rab Havlin) – 8f

The Black Princess (led), Shutter Speed – 8f
- Shutter Speed remains on course for the French Oaks and she again caught the eye this morning. Working nicely upsides her older horse companion she had the measure of her, but her rider elected to just sit upsides rather than letting her go clear.

Taqdeer (led), Face The Facts (Best) – 8f
- Face The Facts is going the right way and he went nicely this morning. Taking a lead off Taqdeer he picked up nicely to go on by the best part of a length.

Cape Cova (led), Wings Of Desire (Burst Clear) – 9f
- Wings Of Desire has really come to hand lately and he was mightily impressive in his latest gallop. Tracking the useful Cape Cova, he sprinted right away from his companion and looks back to his best.

Western Hymn – 8f Solo Gallop

Eldritch (led), Daban (Frankie Dettori)(1.5L Best) – 7f
- Daban may head to Ascot next week and under Dettori she looked in fine form. Asked no serious questions she opened up by a couple of lengths.

Remarkable (led), Chessman (Impressively went clear) – 7f
- On occasions Chessman has disappointed on the track this season but he went about his work professionally and correctly this morning and was value for 3/4L at the end of the workout. He made a useful handicapper in Remarkable look ordinary and I would like to think Chessman will be winning next time out.

Stradavarius, Weekender (Marginally on top) – 8f

10[SUP]th[/SUP] June – Limekilns

Valcartier (led), Middle Kingdom (Frankie Dettori) – 8f
- The talking horse for sometime on the Gosden gallops has been Middle Kingdom and he continues to give all the right signals on the gallops. The War Front colt is a two times winner and his mark of 93 is very fair. He possibly wants 12f and hopefully he will be out again soon. He is a very classy type.

Gracious Diana, Astronomy’s Choice (2L best) – 8f
- Gracious Diana worked a shade flat this morning, which may flatter Astronomy’s Choice who not for the first time really impressed. She was really disappointing last time out but her work at home is strong and she may run in the Ribblesdale next week.

William Haggas

Friday 9[SUP]th[/SUP] June – Al Bahathri

Selection (led, went well), Alfarris – 8f

Victory Bond, Afjaan (Frankie Dettori) – 7f

Second Thought (best), Muthmir (Richard Hills) – 5f

Sir Michael Stoute

7[SUP]th[/SUP] June – Long Hill

(All breezes – half speed work)

Dartmouth, Platitude, Smart Call (Ryan Moore) – 5f

Crystal Ocean, Mirage Dancer – 5f

Rainbow Legacy, Paradise Lake, Noble Conquest – 5f

Dubka, Mittens – 5f

10[SUP]th[/SUP] June – Limekilns – Serious Work

Thikriyaat (led), Poet’s Word (2L clear) – 8f
- A really good gallop and once again Poet’s Word looked the part as he went away from his companion. He is in top form.

Playful Sound (led), Mori (Ryan Moore)(Powered 5L clear)(Never worked as well)(Royal Ascot Banker) – 8f
- Mori has been steadily improving in her races but this morning she finally showed us why she will be the easiest winner of Royal Ascot. Under Ryan she powered clear and effortlessly and really impressed. Ryan was very pleased with her and she is our Banker for Ascot, she will finally live up to her breeding next week, she is a class act.

Intimation (led), Queens Trust (On top by 1L) – 8f

Autocratic (led), Ulysses (Best) – 8f

Desert Dream, Taamol – 7f

Midnight Vixen (best, improving), Blushing Rose, Ebbesbourne – 8f

Doreen (led), Ghadaayer (3L best) – 7f
- 80 rated filly Ghadaayer caught the eye this morning with a solid work out, she looks well handicapped.

I hope this helps.

Wesley Ward – Keenland Gallops & Ascot Gallops

Keenland - 5th June

Lady Aurelia and Bound for Nowhere both went 5f in 1:00.80, sitting upsides in the final 250 metres, Lady Aurelia was travelling better,

Undrafted went 5f in 1:00.60 and Con Te Partiro went 5f in 1:00.40, Con Te Partiro was much too good and could have pulled clear but was held together 1.5L in front. Undrafted was hard off the bridle.

Nuclear Option raced keenly in the lead but went 4f in :48.40 and McErin who coasted to the lead around the home bend was not extended to draw about 2L clear on the bit over 4f in a time of 48.20

The second 2yo gallop saw Happy Like a Fool and Arawak go a serious gallop, with Happy Like A Fool sitting a neck up early in the gallop. Arawak tried to challenge from 2f out and got 4 smacks with the stick but couldn’t get any closer than 1/2L to the hard on the bridle Happy Like A Fool. They think this horse is a bit special and is the 2yo banker of the week. They went 4f in :48 flat

The final ones to work were a trio of Fairyland who was dropped 6L off Elizabeth Darcy & Princess Peggy. Elizabeth Darcy travelled better than Princess Peggy who was nudged out but they done a nice gallop in 47.60 seconds, whilst Fairyland who jumped off 6L behind, cruised through her work and you feel if she wanted to she could have caught them, her time for her 4f after she jumped of was 47.40 seconds meaning she recorded the fastest gallop of the workers.

Ascot - Wednesday 16th June

Lady Aurelia (Ryan Moore), Bound For Nowhere, Con Te Partiro (Jamie Spencer) – 1000m
- Bound To Nowhere jumped off in second 1L behind Lady Aurelia and was meant to sit upsides the filly but when Ryan started quickening after 300 metres, the rider was caught out, he didn’t rush his horse to chase her and held him together but Lady Aurelia burst clear in style. Bound For Nowhere couldn’t be judged on the gallop. Con Te Partiro impressed Jamie Spencer following up in behind.

Nookta Sound (Pat Cosgrave)(Led, 6-8L clear early), Elizabeth Darcy (Jamie Spencer)(Given plenty to do, but got within 2L, impressive) – 5f
- This was an odd gallop because Nookta Sound went a million up front and Cosgrave went a searching gallop, Jamie was very patient on Elizabeth Darcy but she showed a very strong turn of foot as she flew home and would have thrashed Nookta Sound had they jumped off upsides.

Happy Like A Fool (Jamie Spencer)(Best), Princess Peggy (Ryan Moore) – 5f
- Jamie Spencer led on Happy Like A Fool and he was impressed and never had to ask a serious question. Ryan was only a neck down on Princess Peggy but she didn’t have the speed of the other filly and connections are considering the Albany with her, it was a good gallop.

Arawak (Jamie Spencer), McErin (Ryan Moore)(Blinkered) – 5f
- Both colts went nicely without being asked serious questions but you got the impression Jamie Spencer was just sitting on Arawak, whilst Ryan was just nursing McErin on the bit. McErin looks to have more natural speed than Arawak, but both went nicely enough. For me the fillies worked better.

Fairyland did not initially travel over with the 9, but has now come over, she is the best of the fillies.

Godolphin – Wednesday 16th June Gallops

Dream Castle (Led), Thunder Snow (Impressed, 2L clear) – 7f
- A very strong gallop and Thunder Snow went very well, working 1.5-2L better than his companion Dream Castle who just couldn’t get to him.

Dowayla (led), Finishing Touch – 7f
- Dowayla really impressed leading Finishing Touch and whilst the unraced filly goes nicely she was no match for Dowayla who burst clear from the front. She goes to Ripon next week.

TYVM, boom!

You couldn't seriously take 6/1 in that race today, though. It wasn't a handicap and she had fully 14lbs to find on RPRs and ORs.

The gallop reports are useful and appreciated but let's not kid ourselves on she was being tipped to win this particular race.

Wasn't the race we wanted to see her run in, as a 3yo in a listed against her elders over a trip slightly too sharp, but the 9/1 last night was massive and 8s again this morning and even got around 7/4 4 places on Betfair.
Josephine Gordon is such a good rider (even if it looked to me she accepted 2nd 50 yards out, and the horse rallied on it's own accord) and a nice winner. I think the gallops had made it clear she was one we were waiting for, for a while, just a shame they didn't go for the handicap off 94 but then she wouldn't have been 9/1 early. Hope you all won a few quid. If you didn't, don't worry there will be plenty more where that came from.

Desert Orchid, in all due respect we initially wanted to see her in the listed race yesterday over 10f at York for 3yos, or the 9f 0-100 at Sandown, neither were much weaker than today's race, but please read one key line I put from above.

Granted this was not the race we ideally wanted to see her in, but she was 10/1 and 9/1 early and we've been talking about her as group class, so at those odds many myself included were happy to be on each way, she was backed in for good reason.

From 7th June

Hersigh (led), ARABIAN HOPE (Daragh O’Donohoe)(100% Banker Bet when runs)(Impressively powered clear) – 7f
- As mentioned last week Arabian Hope has really been catching the eye in her work and led once again by Hersigh she is entered in a few places this week but connections hope she can get in the valuable Randox Health Handicap on Saturday at Sandown where the stiff mile will be right up her street. She is a seriously well handicapped horse and she will win anywhere she runs within reason.

Don't get me wrong, Flame. I'm grateful that you gave the forum the heads up but she would have made the Sandown handicap (and probably have won it) so why bodyswerve it?

For an extra ten grand? For better odds? Both?

If the price was the deciding factor it screams that Godolphin is a betting operation as much as a bloodstock one. This in itself is useful information.

On the basis of today's form black type was always going to happen.

I'm told they expected Sandown may have been a bit too quick for her and they thought the ground would be better at York, she slipped her Pelvis on her debut last season when 4th in a hot maiden (would have won bar injury) and she has been a worrier at home (hence the hood) and they felt that running her on very quick ground at Sandown may have not been ideal (reportedly very fast in the straight). They walked the track at York worried it may have dried out too much, but Josephine was happy with the ground and they decided to let her run, although she wouldn't want too quick ground and will be better with ease in the ground.

Saeed Bin Suroor's is also very much a betting operation, much more so than Appleby. The horses to land the money go to Saeed as he is considered more shrewd at getting them where they want them. Charlie tends to get the better quality horses to place to win bigger races, but I can 100% confidently say the Saeed Bin Suroor operation likes a bet and are very shrewd and when the money is down, they rarely get it wrong.

Aidan O’Brien

Wednesday 14[SUP]th[/SUP] June – Cashel – Round The Bend (7f)

First Group

Orderofthegarter (9st), Spirit Of Valor (9st)(Anastasia O’Brien), Churchill (10st)(Seamie Heffernen)(Went 4L Clear)
- Churchill galloped over the round 7f, He worked under Seamie Heffernen and was led by Orderofthegarter (carrying 9st), and a second lead horse of Spirit Of Valor (Anastasia). They went a good gallop and Orderofthegarter was headed by the two horses around 400 metres from Aidan. It was only in the final 200 metres than Churchill was asked to go about his business but he was hand ridden to go 4L clear of Spirit Of Valor who was hard ridden, and he was nicely clear of Orderofthegarter who was eased once headed.
Everyone at Ballydoyle was really happy with Churchill and he is bang on for the race.

Butterflies, Asking (Best by 2L), Key To My Heart
- A nice gallop with three fillies with Ascot entries, it was decided after the work that both Key To My Heart and Butterflies would head to Cork on Sunday, where Key To My Heart would have the better chance. The two fillies were nursed to get within 2L of Asking who worked very nicely here. She was disappointing last time behind Winter but looks back in good form on this evidence. She holds an entry in the Sandringham and also in a fillies race at Fairyhouse next week.

Utah (Donnacha O’Brien), Homesman, Yucatan (E J McNamara) – All Upsides
- Three nice staying types who have Ascot entries all worked nicely together and they done a pleasing gallop in a good time. If pushed for a best it would have marginally been Yucatan.

Second Group

Taj Mahal (Donnacha O’Brien)(Led), Idaho (Anastasia O’Brien), Order Of St George (Seamie Heffernen)(Powered Clear) / 7f & 9f
- Taj Mahal took no prisoners in this strong 7f gallop, and he was looked after when headed. Idaho went nicely but was no match for Order Of St George who picked up smartly under a firm ride to go 2.5L clear. Both Idaho and Order Of St George, worked the extra 2f meaning they went 9f, Taj Mahal was pulled up at the end of the 7f.

LEAD HORSE (led)(worked very well, seriously well handicapped), Rain Goddess (struggled), Winter (E J McNamara)(hard on bridle)
- Working the bend gallop, LEAD HORSE who is a nice progressive filly and will win soon despite her form led the useful Winter and Rain Goddess. Rain Goddess struggled and ended up last and Winter was held together to sit upsides a hard driven 70s rated LEAD HORSE who was not disgraced in the gallop and will land a touch soon. I have been not to reveal who the lead horse is on this gallop, when it runs, I will pass on, but I won't risk upsetting my contact.

Friday 16[SUP]th[/SUP] June – Cashel 4 & 5f chute Gallops

Clemmie, September (Seamie Heffernen), Roly Poly (followed up in behind) – 5f
- September worked about 2L better than Clemmie and it was good work. Roly Poly jumped off 7L behind, and finished 2L behind them working well.

Intelligence Cross (Donnacha O’Brien) – 5f solo

Acapulco (Anastasia O’Brien) – 5f solo

Ballet Shoes, Magical (Very nice sort), BACKWARD WELL BRED HORSE (needs time) – 5f
- Magical looks a very smart filly and she had the measure of both her companions in this decent gallop, under a hand ride, she went on by 2L, Ballet Shoes, was 1/2L up on BACKWARD WELL BRED HORSE who looked very green. - I have been asked not to name the 3rd horse in the gallop.

Changeover

Fleet Review (Led)(Anastasia O’Brien), Declarationofpeace (Seamie Heffernen), Sioux Nation (Donnacha O’Brien), BEST 2YO IN YARD (E J McNamara)(Best) – 5f
- A good piece of work led at a good gallop by Fleet Review. He was soon joined by Sioux Nation who finished last of the main three, but there was a surprise as BEST 2YO IN YARD kept on very nicely to finish 3/4L up on Declarationofpeace who in turn was 3L clear of the other pair. This was a good piece of work. - I have been asked not to reveal one of these 2yo's for a reason that it is unraced and wants 7-8f and the yard feel it's a serious Guineas/Derby prospect and they want to keep it under wraps a bit longer. When the horse has standard entries I will release its name.

Mendelssohn, Galileo x Rosdhu Queen (best) – 5f easy work

Brian Meehan

17[SUP]th[/SUP] June – Manton Summer Ground

Fox Trotter (led), Windfast (Jordan Uys)(best) – 6f

Mutarakez (led), Raheen House (Dane O’Neill)(Impressed) – 8f
- A nice gallop and Dane O’Neill came in to sit on Raheen House in his final piece of work before he goes for the King Edward next week. He went nicely here and picked up his lead horse quite impressively before drawing 3L clear.

Changeover

Faraasah (Dane O’Neill)(Best), Ivy Leaguer (Jordan Uys) – 6f
- Faraasah was green when turned over on debut but he worked very well this morning stretching out under Dane O’Neill by the best part of 4L.

Jordan Uys rides a horse on Sunday at Salisbury called Love And Be Loved, he passed on to our contact that he has been told this is very much expected to win.

I appreciate it is not ideal not being able to name a couple of these O'Brien horses but this is at the request of my contact, I will reveal them in due course when entered or running that day and will edit the post, but for now I can't name them. Sorry.

The Royal "We". Interesting.
